Woven Water Brewing Company – Tampa, Florida (Review)

Woven Water Brewing Company has been on our list to visit ever since we tried one of their fusion sours at Civil Society’s anniversary block party. Mena and I decided that we would make them the first stop on our Tampa Bay Beer Week 2023 day trip across the state.

Upon arrival, the brewery was a lot bigger than we expected and was pretty crowded but luckily we found a table for us that had plenty of room to park Ollie in his stroller right next to us – yes Woven Water is kid-friendly as well as dog-friendly which is a huge plus.

The tap list was quite impressive and there was definitely craft beer for everyone! They had a nice mixture of blurry IPAs, hard seltzers, crazy smoothie beers, and stouts as well for those of you that love the heavy hitters.

Let’s take a quick look at the different beers we tried while at Woven Water – keep in mind that it was Tampa Bay Beer Week so to keep up with the crowds they were serving out of plastic cups which we did not mind at all.

Untitled Fusion

• Type: Gluten-Free Smoothie Sour Ale with Strawberries, Passionfruit, Strawberry Soft Serve Ice Cream, Chewy Candy Squares
• ABV: 7%

The fusion beers at Woven Water live up to their hype and this Tampa Bay Beer Week collaboration with Untitled Art was phenomenal – definitely a great way to kick off our day trip to the West Coast of Florida.

Rising Depths

• Type: Blurry Double IPA
• ABV: 7%

To cut through some of the sours we decided to grab this collaboration with DSSOLVR and it was quite impressive – Mena and I are IPA lovers so this blurry DIPA hit the spot!

Bleue

• Type: Blue Raspberry Lemonade Hard Seltzer
• ABV: 5.6%

How can you go wrong with a neon blue hard seltzer? This was super refreshing and Mena and I both agreed that it’s one of the best seltzers we’ve had.

Revenant

• Type: Sour Ale with Blackberry, Marshmallow, Cinnamon, Coffee
• ABV: 5.2%

100% our favorite beer at Woven Water while we were there. I think people may be a bit scared off by the coffee but this works and it is freaking delicious.

Craft Beer To-Go

Woven Water also has a great selection of beer to go from their stocked cooler. 4-packs are sold directly out of the fridge but you can create your own 4 pack of any of the fusion beers they have available – this is a great way to get a single can of them all to try them out!

Let’s not forget to mention that they also do Crowlers of their beers as well if you enjoy one enough to justify buying 32oz of it.

In addition to the various beers we tried at the brewery, we’ve had several that we picked up at local beer shops or at craft beer anniversary parties. Let’s take a look at everything from Woven Water that we’ve tried outside of the brewery.

Raspberry Marshmallow Crème Fusion

• Type: Super Fruited Sour Ale with Raspberries & Marshmallow Crème
• ABV: 6%

Picked this up while visiting during Tampa Bay Beer Week 2023 and it is really really good – not too tart, not too sweet, just the right amount of everything!

Blueberry Mango Tangerine Fusion

• Type: Super Fruited Sour Ale with Blueberry, Mango, Tangerine
• ABV: 6.5%

Another fusion by Woven Water that knocks it out of the park. These sours are getting ridiculous and I am loving every single drop of the madness! Shoutout to Permanent Hangover for the glassware!

Luminous

• Type: Blurry Pale Ale
• ABV: 5.3%

Late Harvest

• Type: Oktoberfest Lager
• ABV: 5.4%

Eye Of The Snake

• Type: Sour Blurry IPA with Blood Orange, Passion Fruit
• ABV: 7%

Banana Split Fusion

• Type: Super Fruited Sour Ale with Strawberry, Banana, Chocolate Soft Serve, Vanilla Soft Serve, Strawberry Soft Serve
• ABV: 6%

My first fusion from Woven Water and it was incredible – I am not sure what sorcery they performed to make this taste as good as it does but I hope they keep knocking these crazy smoothie sours out of the park.

Woven Water Brewing Company Food

We were lucky when we visited as the Cousins Maine Lobster food truck was out in the parking lot serving up some amazing food. In case there is not a food truck scheduled for the day you are there, they do offer a little snack pack at the bar which costs $5 and consists of chips and a few other items to hold you over while you are drinking some delicious beer.

Cousins Maine Lobster Food Truck

This was our first time trying out Cousins Maine Lobster and we were both pleasantly surprised. I get a little freaked out when getting any sort of seafood from a food truck but this definitely changed my mind. 

The service was quick and the food was fresh and tasted quite good – it is definitely a little on the pricier side but for the quality we didn’t mind paying a little extra.

Connecticut Lobster Roll

I’ve never had a warm lobster roll (connecticut-style) and I was actually impressed – I thought it would be way too greasy but was perfect and paired well with my blurry DIPA.

Lobster Quesadilla

I love cheese and I love lobster so this was a match made in heaven. I will admit that this was the fanciest quesadilla I’ve ever had but it was so good – I definitely recommend giving this food truck a try if you ever see it in your area.

Mena

Mena and I will definitely be heading back to Woven Water as it is well worth the 3 ½ hour drive from West Palm Beach. We look forward to going back and trying out their secret menu as well as more of their crazy fusion concoctions!

If you are ever in Tampa, Florida then I highly recommend stopping by Woven Water Brewing Company – it is now our favorite on the West Coast of Florida.
