Omnipollos hatt was a must-see for us to review when we went to Stockholm, Sweden back in 2021. I had already had a ton of beer from Omnipollo and I had to go visit the brewery that created the milkshake IPA with Tired Hands Brewing Company, circa 2015.
Mena and I only had one day in Stockholm so we had to make sure we planned it out carefully – Omnipollos hatt was going to be our last stop of the night before heading back to the hostel. Once we arrived, we were immediately hit with amazing vibes just from the outside as the bright neon side attracted us to the promised land where we knew there would be some delicious, albeit off-the-wall, beer on tap.
Omnipollos hatt Beer
I have had a lot of beer from Omnipollo over the years, way before I was able to visit Omnipollos hatt in Sweden. The first beer I will go over are the ones we had in the taproom in Stockholm and then I will list all of their crazy Milkshake IPAs I’ve had in cans followed by their other beers I’ve been able to try – let’s get started!
We didn’t’ have a lot of time to seriously dive in at Omnipollos hatt during our visit but below you will find the beer we were able to try on tap while in Sweden:
Slush! Blueberry
- Type: Sour slush with Blueberry
- ABV: 6%
We could not visit Omnipollo without getting one of their famous slush beers so we were super stoked to see they had a blueberry variation on tap and it was incredible!
Tim
Anadrome Mango Cheesecake Sour
- Type: Sour with Mango Cheesecake (Collaboration with Dugges Bryggeri)
- ABV: 6%
Dessert in a glass is an understatement – this was our favorite during our visit to Omnipollos hatt by far.
Tim
Fantom
- Type: New England IPA
- ABV: 6.1%
This was a solid IPA and I’d definitely order it again but the sours and stout stole the show for us.
Tim
In Plenty (Marshmallow Brownie)
- Type: Imperial Stout with Cocoa Nibs, Toasted Coconut, Marshmallow & Vanilla
- ABV: 12%
Mena and I are not stout people by a long shot but while in Stockholm we had to give this a try and we are so glad we did. This not only tasted good but it instantly warmed us up from the freezing cold weather outside.

Omnipollo Milkshake IPAs
Now it’s time to get into the madness and deliciousness which is the Milkshake IPA section of the review – starting in 2015, Omnipollo teamed up with Tired Hands Brewing Company to create a marvelous series that has had some insanely good releases over the years. Let’s take a look at all of the milkshake IPAs Mena and myself have been able to try:
Raspberry Double
- Type: Double Milkshake IPA with Raspberry (Collaboration with Tired Hands Brewing Company)

My first Omnipollo & Tired Hands Milkshake IPA, the reason I found out about Omnipollo and where my love for these crazy beers began – 1000% deliciousness!
Tim

- ABV: 11%
Lemon Meringue
- Type: Milkshake IPA with Lemon Puree, Graham Cracker Crumbs, Mini Marshmallows & Madagascar Vanilla Beans (Collaboration with Tired Hands Brewing Company)

Lemon meringue isn’t my go-to pie but this was a delicious beer and not too incredibly sweet. I do want to figure out how to get my hands on their key lime pie milkshake IPA because I know that will be incredible.
Tim

Bananas Foster Double
- Type: Double Milkshake IPA with Banana Chips & House Made Bananas Foster (Caramel Sauce, Bananas, Bananas Liqueur & Rum Lit on Fire) (Collaboration with Tired Hands Brewing Company)

Tim
Space Food: Cotton Candy Space Cookie on the Beach Double
- Type: Double Milkshake IPA with Cotton Candy, Space Cookies, Blood Orange, Peach, Cranberry & Madagascar Vanilla Beans (Collaboration with Tired Hands Brewing Company & Monkish Brewing Co.)

This one was CHUNKY and looked a bit frightening when we poured it but the taste was still there – definitely not as good as the first version but still a solid milkshake IPA.
Tim
Blueberry Pancake Double
- Type: Double Milkshake IPA with Blueberry, Maple Syrup & Madagascar Vanilla Beans (Collaboration with Tired Hands Brewing Company)

Is this the craziest collab to ever exist? It’s quite possible as far as IPAs go but it was well worth the hunt for this can as it was absolutely insane and I am so glad I was able to try this when it was released!

Bianca Blueberry Maple Chocolate Peanut Butter Pancake Lassi (Slush)
- Type: Gose with Blueberries, Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Maple, Lactose & Rock Salt

Now that we’ve gone over all of the beer we’ve tried, let’s dig into the food that is offered at Omnipollos hatt in Stockholm, Sweden.
Omnipollos hatt Food
Mena and I had just eaten at a meatball spot in Stockholm so we weren’t hungry for food, just thirsty for some beer. But, if you do go hungry, Omnipollos hatt has some incredible looking pizza that they serve up from their own pizza oven in the tap room.
Let’s not fail to mention that the artwork on the pizza boxes are out of this world and are true to Omnipollo’s style. When we go back for our second visit we will definitely be trying out the food along with some more beer.
All in all I am extremely glad that we were able to make the trip from Florida to Stockholm to visit Omnipollos hatt and have their beer on tap, right from the source. I highly recommend giving them a visit if you are in Stockholm – they do have a few other tap rooms in Sweden, one in Hamburg, Germany and then one in Tokyo, Japan.
