Once we left our Airbnb in the woods of Asheville, North Carolina we decided to go on a little adventure. Mena and I had heard about the Blue Ridge Parkway but had no idea it would be as amazing as it was. We entered at the visitor center and headquarters near Asheville, NC and followed the parkway all the way to the end in the Great Smoky Mountains – it took us about 6 hours as we stopped at every overlook with a sign on the way up.
I highly recommend spending a day and just drive up the Blue Ridge Parkway if you ever have the chance – the views are absolutely spectacular and the drive is extremely peaceful. We both hope you enjoy all of the pictures below – we have posted every outlook as well as their elevation and then of course we have a picture where we reached the highest elevation of the entire Blue Ridge Parkway!
