Mena loves the reselling community and thanks to one of our favorite YouTubers, HustleAtHomeMom, we stumbled upon Whatnot and the journey down a crazy rabbit hole began!
After using the live auctioning app for a few months now, purchasing several comics and winning a handful of giveaways, Mena and myself have compiled our top 5 Whatnot accounts that you should definitely give a follow.
Update February 2026: A few of the original Whatnot users we followed have since left the app so we have taken the time to go through and find an account from some of the big categories on Whatnot. We purchased items from every account so that we could properly review and document our findings.
Below you will find out top 5 Whatnot accounts and sellers, along with their follower count, review rating, average shipping time, and total number of sales made, for the following categories:
- Comic Books
- Trading Card Breaks
- Music
- Toys / Pop Culture Brands
- Books
Our old top Whatnot accounts to follow will be listed below our current top 5 sellers in the honorable mentions section.
This post contains affiliate links. If you click and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. None of these reviews are sponsored and the sellers had no idea we would be writing this blog post about them. We searched on Whatnot for sellers in each of the categories and went into their shows to bid on auctions just like everyone else. Please do your own research prior to purchasing anything on Whatnot as your experience may not be the same as ours.
Our Top 5 Whatnot Accounts to Follow
#1 ComicTraders
Steve and Kelly run the ComicTraders Whatnot account out of their store in Canada and it is definitely one of our favorite shows. In addition to a ton of giveaways, and auctions, Steve puts together the most insane “Buy It Now” comic book mystery boxes out there – I guarantee that you will never be disappointed when using the “Buy Now” feature on the mystery boxes they make almost every show.
We decided to purchase a Star Wars mystery box as our son’s room will be Mandalorian-themed! I must say their shipping and how they packaged all of the comics is top-notch.
If you are into collecting comics, ComicTraders is definitely the best Whatnot show to follow to get your hands on some amazing comic books and have a great time with the two hosts.

#2 Wax House
Card breaks are all the rage on Whatnot and WaxHouse is a fun way to join in on the fun. I personally find the live shows entertaining and from what I can tell they mostly do all Topps Chrome pop culture breaks (Star Wars, SpongeBob, Disney, etc.) and have shows going 7 days a week. I have joined in on a couple shows and the spots for the breaks usually start at $1 and while not every time, they almost 100% of the time do Stash or Pass which means you basically have two shots per winning bid to get a good character for the break.
I did receive my first shipment from them and the cards came undamaged and on one of the breaks I didn’t come up with anything for my character and WaxHouse sent me a couple sports cards so I didn’t walk away with nothing.
It’s worth noting that during the breaks there are constant giveaways that are running. These giveaways can be anything from single cards, card packs or whole booster boxes. I ended up winning a Topps Chrome Star Wars box during one of the giveaways which was a huge plus.
I definitely recommend checking them out on Whatnot to test your luck and try to hit big on their Topps Chrome pop culture card breaks.

#3 Woosleys
I stumbled across Woosleys in our search for a good “Toys” seller on Whatnot and this was definitely a gem of a find. They are by no means a small seller on Whatnot as you will see below with their stats but that should not deter you from checking them out. During the whole live show they were giving away a ton of stuff, including Amazon gift cards and other pop culture toys and blind boxes.
We managed to win bids on these three items at a great price with reasonable shipping costs:
I couldn’t recommend this seller more if you are looking for sneakers or pop culture toys such as labubus, other blind box figurines and more random pop culture items.

#4 VcValue
VcValue is the sister account of VcVinyl and is where you can go to find excellent deals on a variety of vinyl records. I managed to score a vinyl record of Disney Hits for my son and couldn’t be happier. I will definitely be joining in on their future shows to start making a nice music collection for our boys.
I received the Disney Vinyl quickly and it was packed perfectly. There was no damage at all and the vinyl was brand new just as described during the live Whatnot auction.
If you are looking for a great deal on vinyl records and want to build a personal music catalog then VcValue is your seller to check out on Whatnot.

#5 Mariiela
We’ve got a 3-year-old that loves reading books before bed and Mariiela was the perfect Whatnot seller to find. I joined in on one of her live shows and she was selling kids books with bids starting at $1. I managed to get a few Dr. Seuss books that my son has been wanting at a really good value.
Mariiela also made sure to check the books and show their condition during the live auction so that everyone knew what they were bidding on.
The shipment of books was delivered quickly and all of the books made it in the same condition that were shown during the live auction. While she is not the largest account in this review, I definitely recommend checking out Mariiela if you are looking to purchase quality books at a great price.

Retired Whatnot Sellers
During our initial deep dive into the Whatnot app we found some great sellers that have since stopped selling on the app. We definitely recommend checking out the couple of accounts that we listed below because they were some of our favorite sellers when we first started on Whatnot.
your_moms_comics
South Florida locals, your_moms_comics, host a comic book show on Whatnot every weekend and we always participate. Their show works like this, they have 80 “mystery” comics that go up for auction – once you win the auction they will reveal the comic book that you received after you pick a number (1-80). But that’s not all, your comic that you chose could have a “special” sticker on the back of it which adds you to one of a few drawings at the end of the show to win special slabs.
I love the interactive nature to this Whatnot show and highly recommend giving your_moms_comics a follow to see if you are lucky to win one of the prizes! Mena and I make sure we tune in every weekend as it is a great way to get the day started.

BossLogic
We’ve followed BossLogic for some time now on social media and he never disappoints with the amazing artwork that he creates. Whatnot has given BossLogic the platform to sell his beautiful artwork and custom comic book remarks.
Mena actually won one of his giveaways for a custom Wonder Woman comic book remark that is super cool.
While his shows are rare, I highly recommend everyone go follow BossLogic on Whatnot to try and get your hands on some of his artwork that is auctioned off, given away, or posted in his “Buy It Now” section.

Whatnot Frequently Asked Questions
What Is Whatnot?
Whatnot is a live auction platform that is becoming increasingly popular in the comic book world but is used by resellers from all industries.
How Do I Use Whatnot?
Whatnot is currently available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store – a browser-based version is available but has limited functionality. (Example: You cannot enter giveaways from the browser-based instance of Whatnot.)
How Do You Bid on WhatNot Auctions?
Hosts of live shows on Whatnot have the option to set auctions at a specific price which more often than not is $1. From there, viewers can bid on the auctions and it will add more time to the auction timer – once the timer runs out, the person with the current bid wins the auction.
What are Sudden Death Whatnot Auctions?
A sudden death auction on Whatnot is when the host sets a specific time for the auction and it does not reset when a new bid comes in – these auctions get wild because when there is 2 seconds remaining and tons of people hit the bid button and the price skyrockets. Sudden death auctions are definitely a case of rolling the dice as you have no clue how much you will end up paying for an item.
Whatnot “Buy It Now” Section for Sellers
In addition to the live auction that Whatnot offers, sellers are able to set up items in their “Buy It Now” section which allows buyers to purchase an item directly, without having to bid on an auction.
How Do You Sell Items on Whatnot?
Sellers must apply to sell on Whatnot and show proof of inventory along with becoming verified – you must have inventory to sell on Whatnot and there is currently a waitlist.
How Do You Win Free Stuff on Whatnot?
Giveaways are put up by hosts of live auctions on Whatnot to not only give back to their followers but also gain additional followers. Typically when a giveaway is running, you must follow the host to enter the giveaway and you must be present when the giveaway winner is drawn.
How Do Card Breaks Work On Whatnot?
Card breaks are all the rage nowadays and Whatnot has a great system in place for hosting live card breaks and participating in them. Typically a host will have a giant list of all the characters (pop culture cards) or teams (sports cards) and each auction will be for a randomized spot which is determined by spinning a built-in Whatnot wheel. Once all of the spots are filled, the host will then conduct the card break and viewers will watch on in anticipation as they try to hit the character or team that they purchased.
